Technicians today need expertise in a greater range of equipment, spare parts and service tools than ever before, and we make sure our technicians have the best knowledge and skills for doing their job.
Our four Competence Centers are a key element in the ongoing development of the company’s service expertise in all brands of equipment. The centers collect all the latest industry know-how and make it available to our personnel around the world through technical support and training. Maintenance and troubleshooting methods are developed to sharpen competence in the field. And our service technicians train on an extensive array of KONE and non-KONE equipment and simulators installed in state-of-the-art training and research facilities.
Competence Centers further support KONE maintenance capabilities by producing maintenance manuals, troubleshooting guidelines, repair instructions, and spare parts lists, and providing real time support (Help Desk), training, safety management, service tools development and tools approval for non-KONE equipment.
